Media Center/Readers are Leaders
They are going fast!
We have just a few more Poinsettias for sale! Please contact me or use the flyer in this Newsletter to order. They are beautiful and make great gifts – for your mail carrier, the new neighbor, or maybe a classroom teacher😊.
READERS ARE LEADERS
Readers are Leaders is looking forward to the next two weeks because of our new goal – which is to Set a Goal! Students are learning a way to set goals, and small steps that can lead to success! Mrs. Taylors' Welcome Back morning announcement from Monday encouraged all students to work hard these last three weeks before the break. Readers are Leaders who are setting their own goals to earn a certain number of points by December 19th. They will earn “point numbers” Brag Tags to match points earned.
December is also Monroe County’s Culture of Literacy’s topic, “Literacy is a Gift” at Plantation Key School. I am trying to give each child a book, most are new or tenderly loved, and I hope that you and your child enjoy reading these books together.
Donate to the Mr. Legs Contest!!!
Mr. Legs has also kicked off. Please be generous as we support this fundraiser for Coral Shores Scholarships.
