💟 CAREspace - Community / Access / Relationships/ Emotional Wellness 😁
To address the rising need for mental health services for students, the Riverside County Office of Education and CAREspace are happy to present a series of parent workshops. Please click on the linked flyer to view it in English and Spanish and to register for the upcoming Parent Workshops and Classes that are being offered from Jul-Sept 2024. Families will learn how to set realistic and consistent expectations and boundaries at home to help reduce behavioral issues.
Each CAREspace class is designed to help students to re-charge, re-focus, and get into the right head space for learning. Parents are provided access to mental health and related services for the whole family as well. The “CARE” in CAREspace refers to Community, Access, Relationships, and Emotional Wellness.
What are the advantages of strong family relationships?
💓 Children feel secure and loved when they have strong and positive family relationships. 💓 Positive family relationships help family members solve problems, work as a team and enjoy each other's company. 💓 Positive family relationships are built on quality time, communication, teamwork and appreciation.
This is why CNUSD's Parent Center Believes...
Students whose families participate in their education have higher levels of attendance, homework completion, academic outcomes, and graduation rates. Students' attitudes towards school, self-esteem, and behavior all improve when their families are informed, and their parent-child relationships are strengthened when a positive home-school connection is fostered and maintained.
