Bulldog Blast
11/22/2024
Note From Principal Pautler
Greetings Bulldogs ~
Today is a BIG day as our Bulldogs take on Norman HS in the 2nd round of the 6AI HS Football Playoffs. When you get this deep into the playoffs - all teams are really good and our home field advantage - and AMAZING crowd energy - could really make an impact in this game!! We need you to start your Thanksgiving break off right by joining us at the best place to be on a Friday night - Edmond Memorial High School! This is an OSSAA game which means that your season pass tickets will not work for this game. You can purchase playoff tickets by CLICKING HERE. Tickets are $8.35 (after fees) if you purchase online or $10 (cash only) at the door.
Isn't it hard to believe that we only have 2.5 weeks left before final exams start. As a reminder, final exams run December 18th & 19th. We have a special schedule on those days (see below) or CLICK HERE. Please be sure to plan accordingly on these days. Remember, not every class meets every day on the 18th & 19th.
Should you have a student who will not be joining us for 2nd semester, please give us a call as soon as possible up here at EMHS. It helps us make sure that classes are squared away and ready to go if we know of changes ahead of time.
Have a GREAT Thanksgiving break Memorial. I hope it's peaceful and full of rest. We'll see you back here on December 2nd at the most AMAZING High School in the State of Oklahoma - Edmond Memorial!!

EMHS Staff Holiday Party - "Making Spirits Bright"
EMHS Families,
Memorial Parent Organization (MPO) needs your help "Making Spirits Bright" for the holidays! This year we are giving 50+ gifts as door prizes at the EMHS Staff Holiday Party. We are sending this list out early so you can take advantage of any Black Friday deals you may find. We also encourge families to combine gift giving efforts and go in together when purchasing a gift or donating.
There are three ways to help with the gift giving. Sign up for one of the items listed below (in the $25-$50 range), sign up to donate an item of your own choice, or sign up for a monetary donation and we will do the shopping for you. If you decide to donate an item of your choice, we ask that it also be $25+ in value, unwrapped, and in compliance with our school policies. Please list your gift in the comment section so we can plan for a variety. Some ideas may include, but not limited to, holiday servingware, small electronics, experiences, jewelry, spa products, grilling products, etc. Please drop off all items to the Freshman Academy or the Welcome Center by Friday, December 6th.
Thank you very much for your continued support of MPO and our EMHS staff this holiday season! We truly appreciate our Bulldog families!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Band Program Trailer Replacement
The Edmond's Own Bulldog Band is in desperate need of a new band trailer. The current trailer the program uses has way exceeded its life expectancy and the cost of repair no longer makes financial sense. Please consider a financial gift to our band program to help out our students! We are REALLY close to making this happen!!
25/26 Brings New Graduation Credit Total
The Edmond Public Schools Board of Education recently voted to reduce the number of credits needed to graduate. Previously, the total was 24. However, the state requirement was 23. Therefore, starting in 25/26 - we will require 23 credits to graduate.
Key Club Giving Tree
The EMHS Key Club runs an annual Giving Tree which is a yearly present drive. Families may enroll their students in this if they feel like a little assistance is needed this holiday season. Should you want to take advantage of this opportunity - please complete the form as soon as possible. You DO NOT have to complete all of the wish list fields. If you do not want/need one of the categories, you can leave it blank. If you have any questions or need help, contact Mrs. Hendricks in room 422 (upstairs in the Freshman Academy). Thank you!
Missing Final Exam Days?
If your student will not be present during one or both of the final exam days - they can start their exams during the make-up time which is January 6th @ 12:30 in the main building library.
