Portrait of a Teacher - Remember, they WILL see your work!
- Draw the teacher that you've chosen in their sketchbook. (It can be any teacher in our school even if they were your teacher years ago).
- When you feel comfortable with your work you can draw it on your project paper.
- Begin finding the magazine pages that you will need for your portrait, store them in a baggie with your name written in sharpie
- begin cutting and gluing. Do the person first.
Some Hints:
For example, if your teacher has black hair and glasses you will make work portrait have the same.
If your teacher has a hobby that makes them stand out you could include that in your portrait too.
You DON'T HAVE TO do the whole body - just head and shoulders is fine too.
You don't have to include eyes, noses, hands, feet or shoes, or jewelry in your drawing - those will be added from magazine pictures.
Something fun might be to do the background in the color of the teacher's house!
