THE WOLVERINE CONNECTION
February 10th - February 14th

Principal's Corner
1-2-3 Wolverines!!
Dear Students, Families, and Staff,
As we wrap up another great week here at WRV, it's hard to believe we’re nearing the end of April and fast approaching the finish line for this school year! With just 20 school days left until our last day on May 23, the excitement—and the energy—on campus is undeniable.
This is the perfect time to remind all of our students to finish strong. Finals are right around the corner, and staying focused now will make all the difference. Let’s keep up the hard work, support each other, and celebrate all the accomplishments that brought us to this point. Finals dates are listed below for anyone needing it!
Congrats to our Girls Softball team on their win last night against North Central (12-4)!!!
Speaking of celebrations—Prom is tomorrow! We can’t wait to see everyone dressed to impress at this unforgettable night. Grand March begins at 6 PM on Saturday, April 26, so be sure to arrive on time to see our students shine!
And for our seniors—May marks the beginning of some truly special moments. From senior sunset to awards, graduation practice, and more, there’s a lot to look forward to. (You’ll find the full calendar of events below—don’t miss a thing!)
Thank you for being part of what makes our school such an incredible community. Let’s make these last few weeks the best yet!
With pride and appreciation,
Michael Fellow

New State Cellphone Law
New state law, Senate Enrolled Act 185, bans cellphones during instruction time unless specifically permitted by the teacher for educational purposes. Student cellphones should be turned off and stored in their lockers or turned off and out of sight. We thank all of our students and families in advance for your cooperation with this new law. More details about the WRV HS cellphone policies and expectations can be found in the student handbook.
