July-Summer Camp 2025

We hope that your children are having a great time at Summer Camp! We seem to be getting into a routine and making new friends. The weather we have been having is definitely mirroring our theme for the summer. Please make sure sunscreen is applied before coming to camp in the morning, we will apply again in the afternoon. Remember to bring LABELED water bottles for your child as well.

GEARS will be closed on Friday, July 4th, enjoy your long weekend! We will resume camp on Monday, July 7th. Our field trips for July include: swimming for all-July 3rd, bowling for older children-July 9th, Indian Echo Caverns- All groups on July 10th, Hershey Children's Museum Preschool/Kindergarten only on July 15th and bowling for Preschool/Kindergarten on July 16th, July 21st-swimming for all, July 23-bowling for older children, and the last swimming- July 25th. Take a peek at your Activity Calendar for other inhouse visitors in July.

Again, this year we are excited to welcome back "Funck"s Candy Truck". We ask that you place a bit of coins and dollars in a zip lock baggie and label the bag with your child's name. The children will be able to purchase candy with adult supervision. This is the only money we have asked parents this summer. The visit to the truck allows the children to count money and practice math skills. The truck will be at the Community Center on July 18th from 11:30-12:30pm.

On Wednesday, July 30th will be the last camp day at East High. July 31st, campers should be dropped off at the Community Center for the rest of camp. The school district will be prepping for the 25-26 school year. The last day of Summer Camp is Wednesday, August 20th, 2025.
