Principal's Weekly Update
December 16th-20th
Dear Families,
As we start the third week of Advent this Sunday, Holy Name has been busy preparing for Christmas. The students have been practicing for the Christmas pageant on Monday. The bulletin boards are all beautifully decorated with Advent themed artwork. All of the tags on the Giving Tree are nearly gone. Most noticeably, there is a lot of excitement throughout the building. On Friday, December 20th, we will have a school-wide Christmas party with different activities and treats. More information about this event appears below.
Thursday is the last day to return Christmas raffle tickets. A few parents have reached out with questions about the raffle and fundraising fee. Every family is responsible for a $200 fundraising fee. For families who do not want to fundraise, they are welcome to directly pay the $200 through their FACTS payment. Families who sell $200 worth of raffle tickets (20 tickets) will have fulfilled their fundraising fee. Their FACTS accounts will be credited in the coming weeks. Partial credits can also be credited. For example, a family sells $100 worth of raffle tickets (10 tickets), they will be credited $100 through their FACTS account. That family would then we responsible for paying the remaining $100.
Please see information about arrival times for students for the Christmas show below.
Sincerely,
Megan dos Santos
Principal
