Welcome to the 2024 - 2025 School Year!
Portal Families,
Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year (almost)! I hope you and your family have had an enjoyable summer. We are ready for students to come back. As we have been preparing for a fantastic school year, I wanted to share some information that will help your family prepare for it. We will send out a building newsletter each Friday of the school year. This allows us to communicate important information from the building level that all of our parents and guardians need to know. You will also receive weekly newsletters from classroom teachers starting in September. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call us at 402-898-0425.
Meet your new front office staff!

Who Is My Child's Teacher?
On the afternoon of Friday, August 9th, you will find out who your child's teacher is. This information will be shared with you via email by 4:00p.m. pending any technology disruptions. It will also be posted on the PLCS district app through the Parent Portal. On Monday, August 12th you will receive a welcome email from your child's teacher.
Back to School Night "Open House "
August 12th
Our Open House is a time for families to come and meet the teacher and to visit the classroom. It is also a time to practice how your child will get to and from school each day if your child walks or gets picked up at a specific location. In addition, stop by our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) table. Please consider joining the PTO, or check to make sure your contact information is correct and enjoy a popsicle courtesy of our PTO!
