Day 1 at Mill Creek is in the books. Procedures: arrival, lunch, drop-off, always take a couple of days to iron out the kinks. Day 2 drop off was much smoother. Buses usually will be running on time by Day 3 or 4; thanks for your patience. It takes time to get the route timing down. Everyone is working towards the same goal, getting your child home as quickly and safely as possible.
If you are still having bus issues after Day 3, please call DS Buslines at 816-331-3200.
Please do not let car riders out of your car until you see the adults come out to greet them in the morning (8:18) The car rider line went quicker today. Please do not drop your child off in the area around the school and have them walk up to school to avoid the car rider line.
Walkers/Bike Riders- have been showing up as early as 7:55. Again, they can't enter the building until 8:18 and we do not have supervision until then. If your child walks or rides their bike please work on their timing to arrive at school between 8:18 and 8:35.
Immunizations need to be up to date by 9/4/24. If they are not, your student will be sent home until an appointment is made or the shots required are completed. Please contact Nurse Comstock if you have any questions or updates about your student's immunizations and/or health concerns.
