SV Week 21 Update
Happy New Year!
As we head into this critical time of year, we ask for your continued support with student attendance and promptness to school each day. We expect our Covid cases to be high these first couple of weeks and this forces many students off campus and this means the attendance is even more imperative as long as kids are healthy and symptom free. Should your student or someone in your house test positive for Covid please be sure to report your students as a close contact or as positive using our district reporting tool. Further details are available below as our DVUSD safe schools plan and quarantine guidance has been adjusted.
Our students continue to earn up their PBIS Points and are school store is getting low on prizes. If you have any unused gift cards from the holiday season or have any other small prizes you would like to donate, we would be grateful. If you have any squishmellow plush animals, they are our best seller right now as well and we would welcome those. Also, we are in need of parent volunteers to help fulfill and bag prizes in our PBIS Shop. It can be done on campus or from home, if you're interested please email Mrs. LaBwui.

The Boosterthon Fun Run will begin February 28th with a Virtual Kickoff and will culminate with the actual Fun Run on campus on Wednesday, March 9th. More information will follow.
We are planning on having a Family Movie Night on campus! Our tentative date is Friday, April 29th. Here’s where we need your help…

DVUSD Updated Safe & Healthy School Plan for 2022 (New Quarantine Guidelines)
Starting this week, changes to the DVUSD Safe & Healthy Schools plan went into effect. These updates are captured on our Safe & Healthy Schools website as were articulated in detail during the Safe & Healthy Schools Board Report at our most recent Governing Board Meeting. The most significant change to the plan relates to student quarantine. You can also view a recording of the Safe & Healthy School’s Board Report by clicking here. If you have questions, please feel free to email us at remaininschool@dvusd.org.
DVUSD will continue to offer COVID-19 testing through January every Tuesday and Friday from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm at the District Office. Visit www.dvusd.org/covidtesting for more information.
