Briggs
With A Little Help From My Friends...
Preschool students are already learning many new skills, including cooperation and helping others.
Thank you to the Jefferson Consolidated PTA for sponsoring two play dates before school opened for students and their families to get to know each other. There were two separate events for the preschool students and their families and the kindergarten students and their families.
Off to a Great Start!
Briggs School welcomed 218 preschool and kindergarten students, as well as three new classroom teachers, a school psychologist, and two new aides to our staff. Everyone was excited to return and had a great day.
Cozy Lake
Amazing First Day!
Cozy Lake had an amazing start to the new school year. The students and staff made the first days of school fun and exciting. Students at Cozy Lake rode the school bus, carried their lunch trays, and played independently and in groups at recess.
Stanlick
Welcome to Stanlick!
We have had a tremendous start to the school year. Our PTA facilitated a scavenger hunt for our incoming first graders, as well as for students who are new to the Stanlick community. Our staff created a welcome-back video for students and families to kick off the school year. Finally, Miss Santini and Miss Yermal hosted grade-level assemblies to highlight our positive behavior support program called the 3 B's (Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible). We are looking forward to a great school year.
White Rock
Group Efforts Starts The New School Year Without a Hitch!
There is so much work that goes into achieving a successful start to the school school year for the students and staff. Dr. Valenti commended his custodial and maintenance team for their continual hard work to ensure that everyone started the school in a building that was clean, attractive, and conducive to learning. Secretarial personnel put forth a tremendous amount of effort attending to the many tasks necessary for a smooth start to the school year, such as compiling the summer mailing, enrolling new students, scheduling interviews, checking in supplies, and updating the student information system.
To help alleviate any nervousness during the transition to White Rock, the incoming 1st-grade and newly enrolled students visited the school. During the program, the children met the teachers, explored their classrooms, and took a tour of the facility.
Middle School
Honor Roll Recognitions
During the first week of school, the seventh and eighth-grade students held honor roll assemblies recognizing students for their outstanding academic achievements for last school year’s fourth marking period. Congratulations to those students.
Start of School Memories
Faculty and staff welcomed students to the 2024-2025 school year. The JTMS community was excited to have the students return and embark in a new academic school year.

Seniors Get Creative
Before returning to their final year as a Falcon, Seniors had the opportunity to design their parking space with style. Good luck on your final year and ENJOY!
Staying Connected
New computer monitors have been installed in the Main Hallway and near the C-Wing. The monitors will run news and announcements throughout the school day.
Remembering 9/11
The JTHS Community honored the anniversary of 9/11 with an announcement by Mr. Lipton. Students were encouraged to participate in the National Day of Service.
College Fair Excitement
The new school year's College Fair brought a lot of excitement and was a huge success, with over 200 students in attendance - the biggest turnout in the past three years! Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors attended, gathering information from over 60 colleges and universities. Representatives addressed a wide variety of student questions and gave the attendees an overview of their institution's majors, programs, athletics, student life, campus setting, admission requirements, tuition costs, and much more. Students were fully engaged with the college representatives and were excited to learn about what they had to offer.
