Experience All Villanova Has to Offer
Sometimes we get so wrapped up in our research that it seems impossible to think of anything else. Our work is such a big part of our lives, it is easy to neglect the other aspects. I write today to encourage you to take advantage of everything that Villanova has to offer. Make time to see a play, attend a lecture outside of your discipline, go to a sporting event, sign up for a fitness class, go to the GSC Valentine's Day party! Have you seen the University event calendar? Something is happening every day!
In this issue of GRAD CLAS NOTES, we highlight but a few of the many cultural and academic resources that can enrich your Villanova experience. Graduate school is a time to take a deep dive into your area of study, but it can also be a time to experience aspects of university life that you may not have appreciated as an undergrad. Explore your university. Try something new. I promise you won't regret it.
