Consistent Cell Phone Policy Helps Regulate Phones 📵
When students returned to class a few weeks ago, one change they noticed was that cell phones were not to be used in class unless authorized by the teacher. Administrators are hoping this allows students to focus on their classroom work and learn to their fullest ability. Teachers are already noticing that kids are more attentive, and in turn, the kids are feeling less reliant on smartphones.

Inman Intermediate
The Board of Education and district administrators visited Inman Intermediate on Friday, September 13. When they arrived, each member was welcomed by student council members who introduced them to the building and explained what they liked best about attending Inman. 🦅
✏️ During their visit, they were given an interactive tour of learning in progress in fifth and sixth grade classrooms. They were able to see reading groups, writer's workshop, science lessons, and interact with students. They also observed a Professional Learning Team (PLT) of teachers who were analyzing student data and using it to inform instruction. 🍎
The board and admin wrapped up their visit by meeting with student council members and sharing what they saw during their time at Inman. 📚
