A Note from the Head of School
Hey there BCS Family!
I wanted to take this opportunity to make a quick plug for our upcoming hosting of the Sound of Heaven concert, featuring Justin Gambino and Ryan Ellis (you can find a clip of one of Ryan's songs below).
In lieu of conducting our annual Gala, we will be facilitating the flow of this concert for our community to enjoy and participate in. We have increasingly felt a greater weight as a mission organization here in our community to foster a space and purpose for our community to gather together under a common name (that being Jesus) and purpose, and the hosting of this concert is just one step toward that focus. It is our hope that this will be a welcomed treat for all of our BCS family to enjoy as we have two fantastic musicians leading us in a night of worship together, while simultaneously offering a unified event for those outside of our organization to contribute toward and enjoy.
Our hope is that this is the start of an annual gathering that will realign our community to center upon that which is most important, that the Living God is deeply at work in the fabric of the Brazosport area just as He is in our school, and He is inviting us to join Him in what He is accomplishing. We encourage you to get your tickets for what is sure to be a special evening here in our area, and to spread the word for others to join in. All proceeds of this event are going to our school to continue to support our mission and endeavors in the midst of the growth we are experiencing.
