November Monthly Focus: Gratitude

Naming our emotions is an important first step to managing our emotions. Lower elementary students can identifying their emotions using the Emotion Elements below:

What we believe about ourselves influences our well-being. Upper elementary students can focus on positive self-talk, which is the ability to notice unhelpful thoughts and turn them into more helpful ones. They can use the Emotion Elements to identify how they feel.

NOVEMBER BTV MEETING SIGNUPGENIUS

Our next BTV meeting is Thursday, 11/14 at 7:00PM at Sherwood Brewery. We’ll be reviewing the budget, discussing upcoming volunteer opportunities, committee chair openings, and brainstorming ideas of ways to invest our Fun Run proceeds back into our school community. Come for the meeting, eat some pizza we’re providing, and then stay after to relax, avoid bedtime, and get to know other parents!
