Congratulations to this group of students and teacher who had their Pronghorn Pride Ticket drawn this week. These students were caught either modeling a school-wide expectation or showing ownership for their learning. Way to be #PronghornStrong!

PVE has received several calls from our neighbors regarding speed in the neighborhoods and concerns with blocked driveways or trash in yards. We are asking for your help with being good neighbors.

Please make sure you are leaving crosswalks open, not blocking drives or mailboxes, and that you are not waiting for long periods. Neighbors have also asked that you make sure you are not using their garbage cans for yourself.

We also ask that you slow down your driving through the neighborhoods and be extra vigilant about students and bikes. Although these are public streets, we would like to make sure PVE is in good standing with our surrounding neighbors.

PLEASE HELP!

We are running low on some of our sizes! If you have items that were borrowed from the Health Office, please return those as soon as possible.

As you begin spring cleaning, if there are pants you would like to donate, we would gladly accept those items.

All books need to be returned next week May 16-20.

Notices will be sent home for missing books. If books are lost, a replacement fee will be due.

Please double check those bookshelves, bedrooms, and backpacks over the next few days!

Join us for Food Trucks, Snow Cones, Cotton Candy, Carnival Games, Prizes, Bounce Houses, Face Painting, and lots of fun! Each wristband includes carnival games, prizes, bounce houses, and face painting. All children who would like to participate in games will be required to have a wristband.

If you have already purchased your wristbands you will be able to pick them up at the designated tables behind the school starting at 5:30pm.

Wristbands will be sold the night of the event for $12 a piece (CASH ONLY).

Carnival Volunteers

Our Spring Carnival is coming up and we need your help! Please sign up for a shift to help run a game for part of the carnival. We appreciate your help!

PTA is in need of 130 EMPTY 2 Liter bottles for a carnival game. A collection site will be set up in the main foyer for you or your child to drop off. Thank you for helping us prepare for the First Annual School Carnival!

Hi PVE Families!

May 26th will be our Day of Awesomeness/Field Day, and I wanted to send out some information about what will be happening on that day.

Kinder-2nd Field Time 12:30pm-2:30pm

3rd-5th Field Time 10:00am-12:00pm

• Students can wear hats and sunglasses but are responsible for their items.
• Sunscreen is recommended. You are welcome to send sunscreen with your child (Spray is much easier for us to help apply.)
• Water will be provided.

Please be sure to call into the office or email Jenene Hill at hill.jenene@westada.org if your child is out absent.

If your child has an appointment, please be sure to get a verification form from the provider to allow the school to change the coding for attendance. If your child has a standing appointment weekly/monthly, you can get the letter from the provider for the length of time to share with the office to allow for proper coding.

*Per district policy, an unverified absence will convert to truancy unless verbal communication is received from a parent/guardian within 48 hours (counts against attendance standard).
