Welcome to our weekly newsletter for Columbus Elementary families! Every Friday we will share good news, important information, and of course our STAR STUDENTS with you.
Week in Review
It has been a very busy last week of May at Columbus. We were all very excited to welcome the second graders from HES here today. They had a chance to visit third-grade classrooms, tour the building, and have a Q & A session in our cafeteria. Two of our fifth grade student council representatives prepared a short speech about all of the great things at Columbus. We also closed out the year at the Columbus Corner store on Thursday. Thank you to all of the PTA volunteers who ran the store this year. Some of our fourth-grade classes had an amazing day visiting the Bronx Zoo. This coming Monday the student council and PTA will be sponsoring Kona Ice Truck during recess. Please see the pictures below in the around Columbus section.
