Kindergarten Orientation

The Walled Lake Consolidated School District is hosting Kindergarten Orientation for the 2025-26 school year on Wednesday, January 22 at 6:00 PM at all twelve elementary schools. Junior Kindergarten options in Walled Lake will also be discussed at this event.

You are invited to join us for this important informational evening at Wixom Elementary School, located at 301 N. Wixom Road, Wixom, 48393. Please feel free to forward this information to family, friends, and neighbors that have a child turning 5 years old prior to December 1, 2025. This informational evening event is designed for incoming Kindergarten Parents/Guardians. If you need to bring your child(ren) with you, please bring a quiet activity to keep them engaged during the meeting.

Families can enroll for the 2025 school year beginning January 23, 2025. The webpage also includes an important informational video, included below. Parents/guardians are asked to view the kindergarten informational video prior to January 22nd.

The Walled Lake Consolidated Schools' Foundation For Excellence would like to help you celebrate your incoming kindergartner and junior kindergartener with a Kindergarten Welcome Kit!

Kindergarten Welcome Kits cost $35 with the proceeds supporting the Foundation for Excellence's mission to provide additional educational resources to classrooms across the district.
