Greetings Buena Families!

Welcome to the spring semester Bulldog Nation!❤️

💙Congratulations to our students who participated in our music performances on Not-so-Silent night! Your hard work and dedication paid off. You were AMAZING!

Here are some upcoming events:

🔷Graduation is on Thursday, June 5 at 4pm at Ventura College. Graduation Practice will take place on Tuesday, June 3 at 1pm at Ventura College. 🎓

🔷Tomorrow, January 15 we will have an ELECTIVE Fair at lunch for students. Which elective will you sign up for next year? Check out the MANY options available at Buena! 🎨🎭 Registration to sign up for classes next year ends on January 24th. 💻

🔷The Wellness Center is hosting a Wellness Resource Fair on Wednesday, January 22nd at lunch. Many community agencies are coming to share resources and information with students!

🔷 Do you know an incoming 9th grade student for the 25-26 school year? Our 9th grade orientation night is Thursday, January 23, from 5:30 pm-7pm.

🔷Senior ball is on Saturday, February 22, Tickets will go on sale Tuesday!💃🏽

🔷Career Center News!

*Today! CSU application workshop 1/14 lunch-6th period (google form emailed out)

*Hands-on FAFSA/Dream Act workshop 1/23 from 5-7 (parents and students) in the library with free burritos.

* On Jan 28, Casitas Waterpark will be here during lunch to recruit students to work as life guards.

🔷We offer school TUTORING Mondays from 2:45-4:15pm, TUESDAYS during lunch and Wednesdays from 7:30-8:20 am in the library!

🔷Our library is open from 8am-4pm daily!

🔷Our next ELAC meeting is on February 11, 2025. All families with Multilingual learners are invited to this meeting. Dinner is included.
