The O3C, and likely many of you, are gearing up for a very full spring. Reps are asked to take note of the following announcements and share all the amazing benefits of O3C membership with their individual members. The Image Maker can be forwarded or shared. Please help us continue to offer diverse photographic opportunities to all our clubs by encouraging your members to participate in our events.

We are pre-annnouncing November 16th as the date for the next New Judges Training Course.

This is a full day for people planning to become an O3C Accredited judge through our Judge in Training (JIT) program. It is also open for people who just wish to learn how their images are judged. It is important that we continue to train new judges, as more clubs look for our services, and that we have replacements as judges retire.

Registration will be made available starting July 1. The course will be offered via Zoom presentation and will be interactive.

Enrollment is limited to 25 people. The cost of the course remains unchanged at $110/person, a printed manual will be provided, as will a certificate of completion. Completion of the course is required to participate in the JIT program.

The Ontario Council of Camera Clubs is excited to present to you a new and very special member benefit. Partnering with Photo Tour Trekkers and Tourcan Vacations, the O3C will offer an ongoing photography tour program.

• It was brought to our attention that some of the links weren't working, so they have been updated.
  
• Regarding the ROM Wildlife Photographer of the Year contest, it was also pointed out to us that the ROM's 'Grant of Rights' is quite onerous. Although we have removed that information from this bulletin, individuals are free to explore that and decide whether or not to enter.

O3C Waterfall Weekend - May 11th and 12th, 2024

Weekend of Waterfalls, Landscapes and Night Photography

Join us for a weekend of photography and fun as we photograph waterfalls and explore the shores of Georgian Bay. We are very excited to share some of the landscapes in and around the region of Owen Sound and 4 beautiful waterfalls - Inglis, Eugenia, Jones and Indian Falls. After dark we will have some fun with night photography, including panting with light and pin wheel photography.

We will be touring via our own private coach and staying at the Best Western at the harbour in Owen Sound. We are looking forward to sharing a fun weekend with everyone.
