π Message from the Principal π
We made it through the first week of Semester 2 and I hope you enjoyed your 3-day weekend! π€ Today is more than just a day off from school, as it marks Martin Luther King Jr. Day and it's a great time for us to reflect on Dr. Kingβs powerful vision of equality, justice, and peace. His commitment to treating others with dignity and standing up for what is right continues to inspire generations. Dr. Kingβs message reminds us of the importance of kindness, courage, and respect for one anotherβvalues that are just as important in our school community as they are in the world.
Vikings, Dr. Kingβs legacy challenges you to be leaders of positive change. This can mean including someone who feels left out, standing up against unfair treatment, or working to resolve conflicts peacefully. These actions may seem small, but they make a big difference in creating a safe and welcoming space for everyone. Together, letβs honor Dr. Kingβs dream by continuing to build a school culture rooted in empathy, understanding, and the courage to make a difference. Together, I know we can achieve this!
Let's make it a great week, Vikings!! π
