Our 3rd graders have been learning songs to celebrate and honor our local Veterans. We are very excited to perform these patriotic songs for you on November 14th.
If you are a Veteran, please plan to be here so that we can honor you. We would also love for you to invite other family members, friends and neighbors who have served this great country!
Every child has an important role in this program and has been working very hard. Please help us out by confirming your child has the needed performance outfit: A patriotic shirt or a solid red, white or blue shirt free of design as well as a pair of jeans.
Thank you for your time and cooperation. We are looking forward to presenting this great program!
Sincerely, Katie Jacobs and Terri Nelli Music Specialists

Lockdown Drill
The safety and welfare of students and staff are our highest priority. To provide Willow Creek staff and students an opportunity to practice emergency response procedures, our students and staff will participate in emergency preparedness drills throughout the school year. On Friday, November 8th, our campus will practice a lock down drill.
The goals of the training drill are to improve our ability to protect students, save lives, and reduce injuries. They allow us to elevate our emergency operations plan and improve our response skills. Students and staff will practice the drills following the Standard Response Protocol.
Thank you for your partnership in helping to create a safe and secure learning environment for all students and staff.
Panorama Survey
Tomball ISD and Willow Creek values your feedback. On Monday, November 4, you received an email from TISD Communications with a brief survey to tell us about your experience of Willow Creek to ensure we continue to provide high quality, rigorous learning experiences that meet the needs of our learners and prepare them for their best futures, we need your feedback. We want to know what you think.
The survey will begin on November 4 and close on November 17. You will be able to take the survey online at home or on the go on your mobile device. More information to come!
We thank you in advance for your thoughtful responses. If you have any questions about the survey administration, please don’t hesitate to contact us at teresasullivan@tomballisd.net.

Attendance
Family emergencies will be evaluated on a case by case basis by the campus Principal. If the note only says the reason for the absence is a “family emergency,” the absence will be UNEXCUSED.
It is important to provide a note, with as much information about the family emergency you feel comfortable sharing. Because family emergencies are unexcused absences, the note will go to the Principal to review. With enough information, the Principal may excuse the absence(s) as extenuating circumstances, at her discretion. If the reason is personal, you may email our Principal, Mrs. Sullivan directly.
As a reminder, all absence notes must be turned in within three days of a student’s return to school.
