Note From Principal Graham
This week we focused on the Graduate Profile skill of being kind. As a school, we emphasize the importance of kindness as it's part of our school motto and school culture. It's a simple yet powerful tool that can make a significant difference in our school community.
We encourage our students to practice kindness in every interaction, whether it's a smile, a helping hand, or a supportive word. We are so proud of our Patriots as they model kindness daily. Your role in reinforcing these values at home is invaluable.
Here are a few ways you can help:
- Lead by example: Demonstrate acts of kindness in your daily life, whether it's helping a neighbor or volunteering in the community.
- Encourage empathy: Have conversations with your children about the feelings of others and how their actions can impact them.
- Celebrate kindness: Acknowledge and praise your child's acts of kindness, no matter how small. "I appreciate how you showed kindness by..."
Together, we can create a school environment where kindness flourishes.
