This fall has been unbelievably amazing, and it reminds me of why I love living in Iowa. We have been blessed with gorgeous weather, beautiful scenery, just-right football temps, and the start of harvest. Take some time to enjoy the beauty and reflect.

Dec. 5, 2022- Miriam Gilbert, Rosen Digital vice president, will expand teacher librarians' knowledge of the new, inquiry-based Core Concepts and Power Knowledge science and STEM databases. They will learn how the Learn360 database and other in-house media resources support science and STEM instruction. Time will be given to discuss computer science implementation and connections between the EDVOVE Digital Citizenship Framework and computer science standards.
Jan. 31, 2023- Teacher librarians will increase their knowledge of PebbleGo and Gale databases and how they support research, literacy, and social studies instruction. They will learn about the five kinds of nonfiction and how restructuring nonfiction sections in libraries and instructional lessons can enrich reading and writing across the curriculum.
Mar. 28, 2023- Jamie Gregory, a well-known educator in the field of media literacy, will provide teacher librarians with resources and best practices for instructional planning. In addition, time will be given to evaluate the EDVOVE Digital Citizenship Framework, Media and Information Literacy strand.

This video from Iowa's AEAs will help educators be aware that their AEA has digital instructional resources for use in the classroom and explain how to access those resources using AEA OneClick.
The videos below will help elementary and secondary educators understand the benefits of using AEA digital resources in their classrooms, feel more confident when using them for the first time, and incorporate the ideas presented into their teaching to enhance their students' learning experience. Viewers are also made aware that many of the AEA digital resources can be searched simultaneously using AEA Scout.
