MP Donors Choose Proposal
We have submitted a Donors Choose proposal to fund an MP Staff Reflection Room for all Manchester Park staff. Instead of requesting PTO funds, we are reaching out to the entire MP school community, including business partners, for this effort. This proposal is to allow building staff a few minutes in a school day to refresh and rejuvenate minds to bring the very best to our Timberwolves. This would occur during non-instructional moments of the school day, so not reducing any classroom time with students.
We are so blessed to have the support of all MP families through many intiatives! We ask that you please share this opportunity with neighbors, friends and family with the hope of creating this possiblity to MP staff. Any donation up to $50 will be matched if submitted within seven days if using the code LIFTOFF.
Thank you very much for your consideration.

School Counselor Staff Change
Aubrey Anderson, current MP counselor, will be leaving us to stay at home with her sweet new baby. We are grateful for everything Ms. Anderson brought to MP and wish her the very best! Ms. Anderson's last day at MP will be November 1.
Jesse DeRosier will be joining our MP counseling team on November 7.
Below is a message from Ms. DeRosier.
Hello! My name is Jesse DeRosier. While this will be my first year at Manchester Park, this is my 9th year in School Counseling and 12th year in Education! I love being a school counselor and I am thrilled to join the Manchester Park team. I am originally from Arkansas; I received my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Central Arkansas and my Master's degree in Counselor Education from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. My husband, Tyler, and I moved to the Charleston, South Carolina area in 2013 when he was transferred by the Air Force. I began my career there and loved my time in the Low Country! My daughter, Everson, was born in 2020 and we began to feel a pull to get back closer to our families.
In 2023, I accepted the school counselor position with Arkansas Connections Academy, as my family made the big move to Kansas! We have gotten settled here in our new home, and I have been longing to be back in a building with wonderful students; so I am so excited to be here at Manchester Park! When I am not spending time at school, I love to spend time with my little triangle family and friends, travel, read, play music, exercise, and be outside. As a school counselor, I am always looking forward to supporting students, teachers, and families academically, socially, and emotionally.I can't wait to meet you!
We welcome Ms. DeRosier and know she will make a positive impact for MP students, staff, and families.

Lunch With Your Timberwolf
We're a big school, so need to implement a few guidelines in order to make this happen.
Guidelines:
- Prior sign-up is required.
- Each slot covers two guests.
- Upon arrival, office staff will check for your sign-up.
- If you did not sign up online for that day, plan to reschedule for a different day.
- Lunch will take place in the cafeteria, as we don't have other available spaces.
- You may bring lunch in for your student, but may NOT share food with other students.
- If you'd like to purchase a school lunch, contact our front office by 9:15 AM to order.
- Payment is not accepted on site, so be sure to have enough $$ on your child's meal account to cover.
