Sagebrush Elementary
Family Update 9/6/2024
Message from the Principal
Sagebrush Families,
I hope your family has settled into the new school year and the changes in routine that brings. It brings me relief to know that the paving, at least in front of the school, is complete and we are back to business as usual.
Next Tuesday, September 10 is our annual Fun Run. The Fun Run is the biggest fundraiser of the year for our PTCO. Our schedule for the run is below.
Fun Run Day Schedule
PreK-AM - 8:15- 8:45
2nd Grade - 8:45 - 9:30
1st Grade - 9:30 - 10:15
5th Grade - 10:15 - 11:00
4th Grade - 11:00 - 11:45
3rd Grade - 12:30 - 1:15
Kindergarten - 1:15 - 2:00
PreK-PM - 2:00 - 2:30
We would love for families to come and support their children on Run Day. If you are only attending the run, you may go straight to the field without checking in at the office. Staff members will be handing out visitor stickers on the field.
The funds raised by the Fun Run help to support student field trips throughout the year and teacher grants to provide resources for the classroom. We appreciate your support in this fundraising endeavor and all you do to support Sagebrush each and every day.
Chris Powell
Principal

The date for the performance is to be determined.
Since there are a certain number of instruments, this club will be open to the first 15 students that sign up.

Starting September 24, 2024

The Board Game Club is an opportunity for students to socialize and have fun together based on their hobby of playing board games. Students will have an opportunity to play multiplayer games and spend time discussing gaming strategies, preferences, and just having fun interacting with others without being glued to a device.
Mr. Han will introduce a game a week to the group and allow the students to rotate through different games each week. It will be highly encouraged for students to bring in a game from home each week to teach a group of students to play, especially early in the group.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Mr. Han at rhan@cherrycreekschools.org
