What's Happening in April?
Dr. Isett's Weekly Message
Week of April 14th, 2025
Dear Colts Families,
As we move through the final stretch of the school year, it’s a great time to check in on your student’s grades and overall well-being. Whether they need academic support, tutoring, or help navigating peer conflict, please know that our entire team is here to help.
State testing begins next week and is an important opportunity for students to demonstrate what they’ve learned throughout the year. It also provides valuable data to help us identify areas of need and allocate resources to better support our Colts. Please encourage your student to give their best effort!
Last week, we hosted our Tier 1 “SBAC Strikes Back” rally to celebrate student growth and school involvement—from our talented band and Math Field Day participants to members of clubs like Dungeons and Dragons. The rally’s theme centered on honoring progress and motivating all students to do their best on upcoming tests.
Thank you for your continued support!
Kind Regards,
Eva Isett, Ed. D.
Principal

Families of 8th Graders,
To participate in end-of-year activities, students must meet expectations in grades, attendance, tardies, and behavior. The monthly no-go list determines eligibility. Our counseling team is available for extra support if needed. Thank you for helping your student finish strong!

A message from our counselors
Dear Families,
As we approach the end of the school year, we want to express our gratitude for your ongoing support. It's essential to encourage our middle school students to finish strong. Here are three strategies to help them stay focused and motivated:
Set Goals: Encourage your child to set achievable academic goals for the remaining weeks. This can help them stay motivated and track their progress.
Establish a Routine: Create a consistent daily schedule that includes time for homework, studying, and relaxation. A routine can help students manage their time effectively.
Stay Engaged: Check in with your child about their classes and assignments. Showing interest in their schoolwork can boost their motivation and confidence.
Thank you for your partnership in supporting our students' success!
Best regards,
Mrs. B & Mrs. Lloyd

School Safety & Security
See something, say something
At River Heights, the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and community are our top priority. Students, if you witness or experience bullying, threats, or suspicious behavior, report it to a trusted adult. Parents, stay engaged by talking to your children about their school experiences, monitoring online activities, and reporting concerns.
Together, we can ensure our school remains a safe, secure, and supportive environment for everyone. Thank you for your continued vigilance and partnership in this effort.
Witness Statement
We take allegations of bullying and harassment seriously. Please have your student complete a witness statement if they have something to report. If it is an urgent matter, please call the front office at (951) 738-2155, if it is an emergency, please call 911.
