Week at a Glance
Did You Know?
That our classes are learning about the Jesse Tree through their morning prayers. The Jesse Tree is a way of preparing for Advent by journeying through the stories on Jesus’s family tree. Each day of Advent, we listen to a Bible story about someone on Jesus’s family tree and hang an ornament symbolizing the story on our Jesse Trees by our front door. As we decorate the trees, we will see how God prepared for Jesus to be born through many generations.

ADVENT
Next week we will light the second purple candle - the Candle of Peace and is sometimes called the "Prophecy Candle" in remembrance of the prophets who foretold the birth of Christ. The peace of God brings us calm and allows us to look at others through the eyes of God ,As we move through the season of Advent, we prepare our hearts for the coming of Jesus.
The week after we will light the PINK candle of JOY. We are joyful as we enter the season of Christmas.
