School Board Highlights

August 20, 2024

Easement

The Board approved the Vernon Hills Athletic complex Lease Agreement. The easement grants the Village of Vernon Hills approximately 0.09 acres to add parking to part of the Vernon Hills Athletic Complex (VHAC) that was deeded to District 103 by the federal government.


Busing for Athletic Events

The district will suspend busing back to Daniel Wright following away sporting events and competitions due to the low ridership it has experienced over the past few years. Coaches will work with families to arrange carpool rides home from the competitions. Students will be bused to away competitions from Daniel Wright.


Website Launch

District 103 will launch an updated website soon. The updated website was necessitated by the acquisition of our previous website provider by Finalsite.

Board of Education Meeting

The next Board of Education meeting will occur at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 10. The notice and agenda can be found on the District 103 Board meeting website page. D103 board meetings will be live-streamed each month on our YouTube Channel. Members of the community should attend the meeting at 111 Barclay Boulevard, Lincolnshire if they would like to make a public comment. The public can also contact the Board at board@d103.org.
