Football Playoffs: We will know after this evenings games who we will be playing in the first round of playoffs for football. The game will be Friday, November 15th. Let's go BRONCOS!
Morning Drop-offs: Please remember that students should be dropped off in the front of the building via the main front drive. Please do not drop off in the back parking lot or out on Main Street. Both of these locations have lots of movement and can be very dangerous!

“Become a Hero of the Hallways!”
Calling all dads and positive male role models! Legacy High School needs YOU to be the eyes, ears, and heart of our school for just one day a month or even a week. Did you know that 1 in 4 children in the U.S. grow up without a father figure at home? Kids without strong male role models are more likely to struggle academically, face behavioral issues, and are statistically more likely to drop out of school. Additionally, 85% of youth in prison grew up in a fatherless home, and 80% of school shooters come from similar backgrounds.
By volunteering a half or full day of your time, you can make a profound difference in the lives of our students. If just five of us commit to the same day each week, we could fill this calendar completely! Whether you can give time once a week or once a month, your presence can help create a positive and supportive environment for our students.
For any questions, please call or text Chad Lovell at 817.422.6122. Let’s step up and be the change our kids need! To sign up, please go to the following link

The Legacy Student Council is partnering with Carter Blood Care to have their next blood drive Wednesday, November 20th. Please click the link to sign up and reserve your time. In order to donate you must be at least 16 years of age and weigh at least 110 pounds. If you are 16 you will need a signed parent permission slip that can be picked up from the Student Council room. Spots will fill up fast so don’t wait. Blood bank numbers are low and we want to do our part to help with the shortage. If you have any questions, stop by the Student Council room (EB-101 near the cafeteria) or you can email Mr. Williams at dedricwilliams@misdmail.org.

MISD Parent Hub for Social Emotional Learning
Social and Emotional Learning in MISD is Relational Practices. Relational Practices assist in the ability to understand and manage emotions, set and achieve goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions. Along with our mission to support students, empower teachers, and collaborate with administrators, we want to partner with parents to meet the needs of your children at home. The purpose of this site is to provide resources and support as you navigate through the journey of raising kids in the 2020s. Click here to access the MISD Parent Hub for Social Emotional Learning.
As part of Vision 2030, MISD is helping students become life, college and career ready through our student scorecards. Ask your student to log into Edugence and see what they have been working on!
