A Quick Message
As we approach Spring Break, we want to remind everyone that we're continuing to work hard and make the most of every moment of instruction this week! There's so much learning happening in the classrooms, and we're excited to finish strong before the break.
Additionally, we’re excited for Field Day this week! It’s always a highlight for our students, filled with fun, physical activity, and teamwork. We can’t wait for everyone to enjoy the day and celebrate together!
We hope you all have a restful and rejuvenating Spring Break, and we look forward to finishing the year strong with all of our wonderful students!
3rd Grade Data Night
Please RSVP to your child's homeroom teacher by Tuesday, March 11, 2025 so we can have your child's personal data sheet printed for the event.
March Madness
We are excited to continue our March Madness Attendance Initiative and wanted to share the results from last week! Below are the classes that are moving on to compete for the title of Best Attendance, along with a pizza party.
As you review the data, we encourage you to consider your child's attendance and where they stand. Below are the categories used to assess student attendance
Early Warning System for Attendance
We encourage all students to strive for excellent attendance as it is vital to their academic success. Thank you for your continued support in ensuring your child's attendance success not only for this initiative but all year!
Field Day Reminders
- Field Day is Thursday, March 13, 2025.
- 10:00-12:00 Grade 3-5
- 1:00-3:00 Grades K-2
- We are closely monitoring the weather and will make a decision regarding the use of water games closer to Thursday.
- Please be sure to send students in with a change a clothes and a change of shoes.

Congratulations - Pasco Speaks School Winner
We are thrilled to announce that Abdiel Miranda Lopez has been chosen as the winner of our school's Pasco Speaks competition! His amazing speech focused on the importance of equal access to voting for all. Abdiel will proudly represent Gulf Trace Elementary at the district showcase, and we couldn't be more excited for him.
