A prayer for Veterans Day
Lord God, Almighty Father,
creator of mankind and author of peace,
as we are ever mindful of the cost paid for the liberty we possess,
we ask you to bless the members of our armed forces.
Give them courage, hope and strength.
May they ever experience your firm support, gentle love and compassionate healing.
Be their power and protector, leading them from darkness to light.
To you be all glory, honor and praise, now and forever. Amen.

Student Council News
Our first service project is a special socks drive. On Giving Tuesday, December 3, we hope to drop off a box of socks to the homeless shelter. Homeroom representatives will be bringing in boxes for the sock collection.
We are also going to start thinking about our homeroom themes for our raffle baskets. We hope to raise lots of money for a charity we will be voting on after the holidays.
We would like to start a coding club. The Council will be looking for a moderator who would be willing to teach coding after school to interested students.
We would also like to start a book club. Anyone interested is moderating that club, please let Ms. Martineau or Mrs. Tarr know.
Our next movie night is scheduled for December 13. It will be a special night starting with attending the Trinity basketball game. More information to come.
