Volunteers Needed!
We are seeking parent/caregiver volunteers to join us for our upcoming visit to JA
Finance Park on December 10, 11, or 12. Help guide our students through a hands-on
budgeting simulation where students become adults for the day and learn money
management skills. No experience necessary. Training provided. Check with your
student’s Social Studies or Math teacher to determine which day your student is attending. Sign up here: https://jagw.volunteerhub.com/vv2/lp/jafppgc

In years past, Kenmoor Middle School has taken our 6th grade classes to NorthBay Adventure Center for an annual overnight field trip. It was a fabulous experience for our students and faculty. We feel it improved the academic, behavioral and social success for our middle school students. Our principal, Rebecca Turner, has approved a trip to NorthBay this year. It will need to be approved at the district level before we make a final commitment.
We cannot do a trip like this without parent participation and support. We would like to know your thoughts and your ability to contribute to this endeavor. Please complete this survey as soon as you are able so that we can decide whether to move forward on this project.
We will need at least 70% student participation and twenty parents to chaperone this four-day/three-night trip which is planned for Tuesday, March 18th - Friday, March 21st. The expected cost of this field trip is $200 per student. Parent/guardian chaperones attend for free.
