Principal Star Award
Mackenzie McCafferty: 4th Grade
Mackenzie is such a joy to teach. She comes to school each day excited to learn and always tries her best. With everything she does, she gives her all. She is always willing to help in any way that she can, including cleaning up and organizing. She exhibits the three R's on a daily basis in all areas of the school! She is a diligent listener and an advocate for herself and others, always making sure that her group/partner/peers are doing well. Her creativity shines in art class and is always coming up with ideas to make her art better! She perseveres through any challenge that she faces and will be the one to ALWAYS put a smile on your face. Mackenzie deserves to be recognized for being an all-around great student. It is evident that she cares about herself, her school, and others! (Mrs. Kurman)

Junior Achievement Day!
On Monday, May 13th our 3rd, 4th and 5th graders will be visited by Junior Achievement volunteers. These volunteers will spend the day teaching our students about various financial literacy concepts like debt, loans, and how to start your own business. More communication will be going home this week so be on the look out!
Field Day is May 15th!
This year, we will be having a "Color War" Field Day! The school will not be purchasing Field Day T-Shirts this year, but ask that each student wear as much of their Grade Color as possible! Each grade will try and wear as much of their assigned color on Field Day. Teachers will tally each article of clothing in their grade color and earn 1 point/article of clothing. Whichever class, in the grade, totaled the most points will be the winner for their grade level! Grade Colors are as follows:
K- Red
1st- Yellow
2nd- Green
3rd- Purple
4th- Orange
5th- Blue
