Fernbrook Winter Poinsettia Sale

Interested in decorating your home for the holiday season and looking to benefit all Fernbrook Elementary Students in the process? You're in luck! The Fernbrook School PTO is holding a Holiday Poinsettia Sale. You have the option to purchase 6" Red or White Poinsettia plants for $10 each or 10" Red or White Poinsettia plants for $32 each.

Orders are due on Friday, November 22, 2024 and pickup will occur on Friday, December 6, 2024. More details about pickup to follow.

Note: Poinsettias should remain indoors or in an area above 55 degrees.

Upcoming Fundraiser: Corner Bistro

Take a Night Off from Cooking and Support the Fernbrook Fifth Grade Class!

Dine in or order takeout from the Corner Bistro on Wednesday, November 6, or Thursday, November 7, 2024, between 4:00 PM and 9:00 PM, and a portion of the proceeds will automatically benefit our fifth graders. No need to save your receipt or take any extra steps—just enjoy your meal and support a great cause!

Fifth Grade Fall Festival Event

The Fernbrook PTO and Fifth Grade Committee are proud to announce our first Fifth Grade event of the school year, "Fifth Grade Fall Festival" on November 15, 2024, from 7:00 PM- 8:30 PM at Fernbrook School Gym. For $20 per person, snacks, water, and fun group activities will be provided. The theme of the event is "Wild West." Make sure to wear flannel, plaid, denim and boots (if you have them). In addition, the "Official" Fifth Grade T-Shirt will be distributed at the event.

Note: This is a drop-off event and only Fernbrook Fifth Grade Students can attend these events! Don’t miss out, sign up for the event, today! Please pre-register and submit your payment by Wednesday, November 13, 2024.

Additionally, once you register, we ask that you send a current headshot of your fifth grader (via email by November 9, 2024) in front of a blank wall. Silly or serious expressions encouraged! These headshots will be added to a fun Wanted Poster that will be used to decorate the space and the students will bring their poster home at the end.

Thank you: Fernbrook's Annual Boo Bash

Thank you to all our Fernbrook friends and families who came out to celebrate Halloween at our Annual Boo Bash! The evening was filled with fun as everyone enjoyed two hours of fall games, movies, crafts, activities, snacks, dancing, laughter, and more. It was wonderful to see our community come together for such a memorable event.

A special thanks to all the incredible volunteers who made it happen! Our Boo Bash Committee put in countless hours to create an amazing experience: Samantha Skokandich, Melissa Issa, Emily Dura, Brittany Bassett, and Miranda Paull – you all are the best! We’re also grateful for the additional support from parents and teachers who volunteered during the event to help bring the magic to life: Nina Lifshey, Dana Pineiro, Melissa Zimmerman, Kevin Skokandich, Jimmy Bassett, Christine Steigman, Andrew Intili, Stephanie Pedrick, Geoff Pedrick, Bryan McLean, Jodi McLean, Robin Groome, Marie Emberger, Nahid Godleski, Marc Dalangin, Nubia Gomez, Jennifer Fleck, Allison Penny, Carly Osborne, Jeana Drugac, Roxanna Ordonez-Fresse, Jamie Rajkumar, Emily Vanderhoof, Hacel Fuentes, Jaimie Pasterick, Basabdutta Dhar, Mahua Banerjee, Sharon Martinez, Cynthia Dalangin, and Gina Dandrow. And a huge thank you to the Randolph High School Key Club students—our event wouldn’t have run as smoothly without your help at each station!

Thank You: Fall Scholastic Book Fair

Thank you to everyone who participated in our Fall Scholastic Book Fair! It was our most successful fair ever and it could not have been done without all of our amazing volunteers, unending support from our Fernbrook administration, collaboration with our Fernbrook teachers/staff and, of course, without the support and participation of our parents and students. It was a wonderful community event and it brought so much joy to our volunteers to meet so many parents and students from our Fernbrook family.

A special thank you to: Dr. Bernal, Mrs. Amin, Mr. Patel, Ms. Moran, Mrs. Branch, our amazing custodial staff for all of your assistance in making this possible. Thank you to all of our amazing Fernbrook PTO Members for volunteering at the event.
