  • Mrs Reynolds would like to thank all students for their hard work this year.
  • Mr Gourlay would like to say well done to Sam 8T, Abbie 9C and Adam, Shay, Kacper and Ashley 8S on their successful completion of the Bronze Award in the Duke of York iDEA program.
  • Mrs Morgan has nominated Tyler 10C Tyler Cottingham for producing good Art work and Summer 8C for some excellent Art in a matchbox.
  • Mrs Ferns has nominated Year 12 students who attended Residential at UON and took part in the activities at Adventure Ways which included Archery Tag, Team Building, Low and High Wires.

  • Mrs Reynolds would like to thank all staff for their hard work over this academic year. We hope you all have an enjoyable summer and we will see you all in Monday 20th August.

Young Physicist of the Year

Year 10 students Musa and Martyna were recently presented ‘Young Physicist of the Year’ awards at a ceremony held at the Open University in Milton Keynes.

GCSE Results Day

Results day is Thursday 23rd August 2018. All Year 11 students and parents will shortly receive letters outlining the arrangements for the day.

Super Physics Competition

A group of Year 9 students recently attended a physics competition organised by the Institute of Physics. At the end of the competition, the students attended an awards ceremony and we were awarded eighth place overall.

Attendance Matters

Every single day a student is absent from school equates to a day lost of learning. At Corby Technical School we pride ourselves in maintaining excellent attendance. Our target is to achieve and maintain a whole school attendance of above 96.5%. We will be giving you weekly updates on our whole school attendance, the tutor group and house who achieved the highest attendance this week.

Whole School Attendance

Whole school attendance (excluding Year 11) this week is 91.07%. We are not reaching our target and hope to improve this in the next academic year.

Best Tutor Group

Best tutor group this week is 7TA with 99.2%, well done to Miss Benson and your tutor group.

T house are the house winners this week with 92.6%. Well done Telford and Tacke.
