Wildcat Weekly Update

From the Principal
Medinah Middle School Families,
As we head into spring break, we want to take a moment to recognize the hard work and dedication of our students and staff. We hope you all enjoy a well-deserved break filled with rest and time with family and friends.
When we return in April, we are excited to finish the school year strong! As a reminder, we expect all students to continue demonstrating our Medinah Code of Conduct by being safe, caring, respectful, and responsible in all areas of the school. We encourage students to stay focused on their academics, continue making positive choices, and finish the year with their best efforts.
We look forward to a great final stretch of the school year and appreciate your ongoing support!
Enjoy your break, and we’ll see you in April!

From the stage of “America's Got Talent” comes Matt Wilhelm's BMX Stunt Show. Wilhelm is a Guinness World Record Holder, 2-time National Champion, and World Championship silver and bronze medalist. He won “America's Got Talent” YouTube competition and advanced to the semi-finals on the television show. He rode for The United States National Team in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024.
Matt Wilhelm's school assembly combines amazing BMX tricks with educational character messages. Matt takes a positive approach to bully prevention by focusing on kindness, positivity, and the difference that one person can make. Kids will walk away empowered to stand up for others, stand up for themselves, and be everyday heroes.

Illinois 5 Essential Survey
Schools across Illinois are participating in the Tenth annual 5Essentials Survey of Learning Conditions: Organizing Schools for Improvement this past academic year. This survey generates valuable data that districts can use to guide their ongoing efforts to improve schools and to offer students an excellent education. The survey is another improvement tool that allows districts and the state to share data as a means to inform parents and community members about the school’s learning environment. Please click the link below to take the survey.
