DC's annual Pride Parade will be held this Sat. June 11. As in past years, the parade route will come through Dupont Circle. Participate in the fun from the sidelines or register to march in the parade with the DCPS group! This opportunity is open to all LGBTQI+ families and allies.

Those marching can meet at T and 14th St at 2:30pm (the start of the parade) wearing Ross shirts and carrying our Ross banner. DCPS and the PTA will provide flags and necklaces to pass out along the route.

For those watching from the sidelines, there will be a Family Fun Area at Stead Park from 3-7pm with face painting, balloon art, games, and other family activities. And there will be an exclusive Family-Friendly Parade Viewing Area at the corner of 17th and P St, for families with small children.

If you sign up to march with DCPS, please let Debbie Sundberg know (debbie.h.sundberg@gmail.com), and she can connect participating Ross families.

Join Ross students, families, teachers, and staff at a PTA-sponsored picnic at Stead Park to celebrate the end of the school year!

Please RSVP, and if you're able, we would love for you to bring your family's favorite dish to share - sweet, savory, snacks, fruit, or whatever you like! We also need some volunteers to set up, facilitate activities, serve food, and assist with clean up. The PTA will provide popsicles, pizza and entertainment!
