Nov 11 - wear read, white and blue

Jan 16 - bring a stuffed animal to school

Feb 21 - dress like a twin day

March 26 - dress to impress

April 17 - wear your PJ day

*Wear your "Nest shirt day" will be on the following dates: Oct 25, Nov 22, Dec 18, Jan 31, Feb 28, March 28, April 30 and May 16. Every student will be given a Nest shirt soon!

*Wear your Coy Spirit clothing on Fridays that are not designated as a Nest shirt day or spirit day.

Check out the nests! They are filling up quickly with eggs which means students and parents are doing great things and celebrating our word of the month, "positivity!"

Hi there!!

This past week we've continued to explore feelings and emotions as well as how to handle different situations and use our coping skills in all grade levels. We will continue Big Deal and Little Deal with Kindergarten so make sure to ask your kiddo what the difference between the two is and see if they can tell you the tools they can use to solve their little deals! There are still a few spots open and the first session will take place next Wednesday at 8:20.

Thank you to everyone who has turned in your health related forms and/or has reached out to me within the past week. Vision and hearing screening will still continue throughout the next couple of weeks.

Please make sure that your child is dressing appropriately for weather changes. As the weather continues to change day to day, we want to encourage dressing in layers.

As we move into cold and flu season, please make sure to familiarize yourself with the Elementary School District Handbook illness section on page 20.

• Our next PGA meeting is Wednesday, September 25th in the Coy Library at 6:30 PM. Please join us!

The Coy PGA is sponsoring a second "Goodies with Grandparents" event for our first and third grade students on September 27th! This event allows students to invite their grandparents to school for a morning treat and to show off their classrooms. RSVPs are coming home soon! You MUST RSVP in order to attend this event.

If you have not re-enrolled your Kroger Community Rewards card for this school year, please do so now.

To re-enroll a card, simply go to www.krogercommunityrewards.com

· Click “sign-in”

· Put in your email address and password that you used to enroll your card.

· Click on your name at the top right, scroll to the bottom for Community Rewards.

· Put in the group number or part of the name of the organization.

· Choose the correct organization.

· Click Enroll.

You are now enrolled in the Kroger Community Rewards.

If you are having an issue with your password and or email address please 1-800-KROGERS, press 5 for customer service, press 5 to speak to a customer service representative.

If you are registering for the first time, you will need to set up an account first.

· For a member to enroll for a card, simply go to www.krogercommunityrewards.com

· Click “create an account”

· Put in your email address and password. Confirm your password

· Enter plus card OR alt ID number

· Go to Community Rewards (near bottom)

· Follow through the steps. (Name, address, etc.)

· Put in the group number or part of the name of the organization.
