January 4th PD Event, Limit Break! Register NOW
We are thrilled to share with you, that the agenda has been built for our upcoming January Professional Development, Limit Break, on January 4th at the GA Tech Hotel and Conference Center. In addition, registration is now open! Please follow the directions on the "special edition" smore dedicated to the event to register today. Support XP Form
We had a minor error with the Support XP form due to an incorrect shared link in last week's Twitter chat. This error has caused miscalculations with the XP totals on the tracker. Justin plans on working on an update over the break. We will let you know as soon as everything is back up and operational! Thank you for your patience.

School Leads
School Leads have two separate forms that need to be completed. One is the committee intent form (https://goo.gl/forms/tV8WVUb94QzAl0wD2) that was due December 18th for XP and Events/PD. The other is the school lead redelivery information (https://goo.gl/forms/pgQPSSr3rUpC5tUi2) that was communicated via Teams by Megan Endicott. Both forms are due by the close of business on December 20th. Reach out to Megan if you have questions! We appreciate you and look forward to seeing your responses. Thank you!
New Member Modules
We Made it! First Semester Is Finally Complete.
We wish all of you’re a restful break and thank you for your hard work and participation.
All Modules were due 12/3/2018
New Members Modules: First Semester Courses are worth 40 points ( all new members must complete the modules and have a total of 40 points)

New Members the codes will change every 30 days these are the codes for the modules
Module 1: JROGU
Module 2: HUCGZ
Module 3: SKWDM
Module 4: XHOQM
At the end of every module complete the Module Completion Form your points will automatically calculate.
If you are experiencing any issues with the codes, modules or need to get in contact with us please continue to reach out in Teams to Christian Padgett, Pam Kelly or Chanel Johnson ( make sure to tag our names so that we can receive a notification that someone is contacting us) example below:
New Members will not receive Early Bird Stipends, even if you have the points. New Members need 50 XP by Feb 1 in order to qualify for the stipend. New Members will have opportunities to receive 50 points by the deadline.
New Members attending the January Professional Development, Limit Break, on January 4th at the GA Tech Hotel and Conference Center. We Will have a special session for you by Pam Kelly and Christian Padgett. The New Member Session will provide a deep dive into second semester, the expectations, an opportunity to preview the first module, and for you to ask any questions. Please read the "special edition" smore to register.
New Members that have other obligations and can't attend the Jan 4th PD, The New Members Team will have a call Jan 8, 2019 at 6pm

Shout out to New Prospect Elementary School Vanguardians (Robert Foster, Diana Anderson, Laura Lamaster, and Kati Searcy) for hosting an Apple Event at Apple Avalon on December 10th!! Apple provided a free PD on CLIPS- an iOS app for making and sharing fun videos with text, effects, graphics, and more.

Beyond Microsoft Innovative Educator- Spaces Still Left
We’ve seen a lot of requests for more Microsoft training. Here's a great PD opportunity! Mindy Ramon will be facilitating a self-paced online Beyond Microsoft Innovative Educator course. This course will run from January-May and will cover advanced uses of Microsoft tools to transform learning and support students. Course
activities and assignments will be aligned to the Technology Integration Matrix. Please complete this form if you are interested in this course. Participation is limited to 25 teachers. First come first served!
January 4 Microsoft Teams Training- Help Spread the Word
There are several Microsoft Teams training sessions scheduled for the January 4 workday. Please help spread the word to others at your school that would be interested in attending.
Microsoft Teams: Support for Personalized Learning
Attend this session to learn more about Microsoft Teams- one stop shop to create a digital hub for your classroom and streamline your teaching workflow. Learn to create individual assignments, provide personalized feedback, track student progress via a OneNote notebook, meet online, engage student voice/choice, and more.
Microsoft Teams: Support for Effective PLCs
Attend this session to learn more about Microsoft Teams- one stop shop for communication and collaboration. Educators will learn how PLCs can use Teams to save time by organizing all work in one hub. Learn strategies for more efficient communication via the chat, conversations, video calls, and more. Discover how to use a shared document library or OneNote notebook for tracking student data, meeting notes, lesson planning, and other PLC tasks.
These sessions will be held at Bear Creek Middle School and Centennial High School. Register in Edivate in the Professional Development Days catalog.
