Dear Eagle Families,

We have had a fantastic four months of this school year and plan to continue exceeding ALL expectations as we move into 2025!!! We are looking forward to seeing all of our families at the "Christmas Around the World" event on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 @ 4:30-6:30. Check out details in the flyer included in this newsletter!

As interim principal I have truly grown fond of the CEEM school family! I believe in this staff, the students, and our families. I am truly blessed to serve and thankful for the opportunity to remain the interim principal for the entire school year. It is going to be the best year yet!!! We have the best staff, students, families, and over all, THE BEST SCHOOL IN ONSLOW COUNTY SCHOOLS!!! #believeittoachieveit

We kicked off our Parent Volunteer Organization (P.V.O) meeting to brainstorm and plan fun opportunities to bring our families together throughout the year. If you are interested in supporting our school through volunteering, please email Dr. Lisa Peele, Interim Principal @ lisa.peele@onslow.k12.nc.us.

Our teachers and students are a working diligently everyday to build a strong family culture, striving to be the best every day! Please pay attention to student folders with notes and homework in order to stay connected to your child(ren)s education! We want YOU as a strong partner in their growth and achievement!

Check out the remaining CEEM character traits of the month, which we embed into everyday learning for our students. Please help us teach your child(ren) about these important character traits:

Students will be selected by their peers for exhibiting the character trait of the month, each month of the school year! These students will be recognized at a special "Character Breakfast"! This month, our students will learn about "responsibility"! Help us by teaching your child about this and all character traits!

We are looking for parent volunteers to come together for "Christmas Caroling" around the school from 8am-9am on December 19 or 11am-12pm on December 20th! Please use the link below to sign up to come sing carols, walking through the halls of Clyde Erwin!!
