Rock Ledge Intermediate Center
November 2023
A Note from Mrs. McKeefry
It amazes me how quickly a school year goes by....It is NOVEMBER already!! We have had a lot going on with field trips, safety drills and learning. I want to remind all families to please send a note with your child if their route home will change. We cannot guarantee we can get a message to your child if you call school after 2:00 p.m. I know that things come up unexpectedly but please try to limit the afternoon phone calls to the office. Also, just a reminder that there is no supervision on our playground after school. There have been a number of injuries on the playground after school so we ask that students go directly home after the bell rings. Thank you for your help with this. Hoping you have a lot to be thankful for because we have a TON to be thankful for here at RLI.

Pick Up Safety
We need your cooperation to keep our students safe during afternoon pick up in front of our school. Please use the INSIDE LANE ONLY to pick up your child. Students should enter the vehicle from the passenger side. If you park in a stall to pick up your child you MUST get out of your vehicle and walk across the lanes to help your child get to the vehicle safely. Please continue to drive slowly and cautiously for our children’s safety. Thank you for cooperation.

National School Psychology Week
During the week of November 6-10, 2023 schools throughout the United States will celebrate National School Psychology Week to highlight the important work school psychologists and other educators do to help all students thrive. This year's theme is "Together We Shine" which is derived from how we see hope after several challenging years. We have all faced difficulties created by the pandemic, social injustice and inequity, economic stress, and challenges to mental and physical health. During this time we would like to recognize and thank School Psychologists, Kelley Selissen and Rachel Pautz for helping our students and their families each and every day.
