Dear Oak Ridge Families,


Fourth and fifth grade students will attend a field trip on May 11th to visit the Cape County Courthouse, Archive Center, Historical Center, and the Cape County Nature Center. This field trip is for students only due to space limitations on our tours and our educational presentations. We will pack sack lunches for students. More information will be sent home in backpacks next week.


We officially have 14 days of school left for this school year with several events still planned. Check out the upcoming events section of this newsletter to plan accordingly.


If you are able to volunteer at play day, please get your volunteer form in as soon as possible as we do not have enough volunteers at this time.


We will be MAP testing May 1st-May 5th. The last day of testing will be May 5th. Students will be provided with a free breakfast during MAP testing.


Don't forget to purchase your 22-23 yearbook!


We are winding down the year. Please pay lunch bills, before/after school care bills, early childhood bills, or any other fees as soon as possible.

Permission To Park Bike On Campus Form
Students that plan to ride a bike to and from school must have this permission slip outlining bike safety on campus on file in the office prior to bikes being allowed on campus.
After School Adventure Club Form
The Oak Ridge R6 School District offers after school care from 3:15-5:15pm for students in K-10th grades. Complete the form and return to the elementary office. The cost is $5 per day.
Free/Reduced Meal Application Form
If your income status changes throughout the year, please turn in an updated from to the office.
Bus Transportation Request Form
Complete this form for routing bus transportation to or from school. Call 573-266-3232 if you have questions or need a temporary bus change.
Parents As Teachers (PAT) Request For Services Form
Parents As Teachers (PAT) is a free program to help expectant parents and parents with students age birth through kindergarten age to ensure their children are reaching developmental milestones and are ready for school.
