MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR
Prioritizing Mental Health for a Brighter Tomorrow
Dear Bodhian Family,
In today’s fast-paced and demanding world, mental health has become a crucial aspect of our overall well-being. It impacts how we think, feel, and act, influencing our ability to handle stress, relate to others, and make decisions. At Bodhi International School, we believe that fostering mental health is not just an initiative but a shared responsibility rooted in care, empathy, and understanding.
Mental health challenges can arise from various factors—academic pressures, social expectations, family dynamics, or even the rapid pace of change in our world. At Bodhi, we take pride in creating an environment where students feel secure, supported, and empowered to express their feelings. Our educators are more than just teachers; they are mentors and confidants who actively listen, guide, and inspire. Through mindfulness practices, regular meditation (Anapaan) and counseling sessions, inclusive group activities, and wellness programs, we aim to build emotional resilience and equip students with tools to navigate life’s challenges with confidence.
However, the heart of any meaningful change lies in collaboration. We deeply value the partnership between parents and the school. As parents, their understanding, love, and encouragement play a vital role in shaping our child’s mental health. Simple acts like asking about their day, listening without judgment, and celebrating their efforts rather than outcomes create a world of difference. Together, we can ensure that every child feels seen, valued, and supported both at school and at home.
Mental health is not just about addressing challenges but also about celebrating our emotional strength and growth. At Bodhi, we are committed to creating a safe space where children not only thrive academically but also grow into compassionate, resilient, and balanced individuals who are ready to lead the world tomorrow.
Let us continue to nurture this journey of care and connection together, hand in hand.

MESSAGE FROM THE SECONDARY SCHOOL PRINCIPAL
Dear Team, Learners and Partners
Education today is evolving faster than ever, and so are the learning needs of our children. With new opportunities come new challenges—distractions from technology, social pressures, and the complexity of modern life. These hurdles remind us how crucial it is to nurture creativity in learning, making it engaging, meaningful, and relevant for every child.
At Bodhi, we firmly believe that every child is unique. Some learn through questioning, others through creating, and some through exploring the world around them. By blending love, care, concern, vigilance, and an understanding of these diverse learning styles, we strive to create an environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to grow. Our focus isn’t just on academics—it’s about fostering a love for learning that helps children adapt, innovate, and thrive in an ever-changing world.
But here’s the thing—we can’t do it alone. As parents, your role in this journey is just as vital. You are your child’s first teachers, role models, and biggest cheerleaders. Your encouragement at home and collaboration with us at school make a world of difference. Whether it’s fostering curiosity, building resilience, or teaching kindness, these lessons have the strongest impact when we work together.
Let’s join hands to raise not just knowledgeable children but also kind, creative, and responsible individuals. The future we dream of for them starts with the steps we take today, together.
Here’s to designing a brighter tomorrow, one child at a time!

English
Exploring the Art of Argumentative Writing
The classroom buzzed with spirited discussions as students of Grade 7 embarked on an enriching journey into the world of argumentative writing. The activity centered on the ever-relevant debate of whether smartphones are a boon or a bane, focusing on their benefits versus the risks of addiction. Guided by the principles of persuasive language, students employed techniques such as hyperbole, rhetorical questions, exclamations, statistics, triples, emotive language, repetition, imperatives, direct address, and figurative language to craft compelling arguments.
Each participant expressed their stance with conviction, drawing on well-researched facts to substantiate their viewpoints. On one side, students highlighted the utility of smartphones, praising their role in communication, education, and safety. They underscored how smartphones connect the world and argued passionately for their potential to enhance productivity. Conversely, the opposing group voiced concerns about the addictive nature of these devices, emphasizing the health risks, mental strain, and social isolation they can foster.
The classroom became a vibrant arena of ideas, where logical reasoning and emotional appeals interwove seamlessly. Rhetorical questions like “Can we truly thrive without instant connectivity?” were countered with exclamations such as “The cost of addiction is far too high!” Statistics on screen time and mental health added weight to the debate, while emotive language brought a personal touch to each argument.

Nature’s Symphony
Cherry blossoms smile at the open summer breeze,
Lily's bloom with pride as their leaves dance with ease.
The bright sun peeks from behind the clouds,
The snow melts from the mountain tops, soft and loud.
Nature sings its song, a melody so true,
A world reborn, bathed in morning dew.

Live in the Moment
Live in the moment, for tomorrow's unsure,
Time flows like the breeze, quiet and pure.
Spread happiness freely, share and borrow,
Make today count—don’t wait for tomorrow.
Work hard while you're young, seize the day,
God lights the path, guiding your way.

The Magic of Monsoon
The dripping of water, a gentle tune,
The shower of nature beneath the moon.
A lovely promise, a future bright,
In insane showers and flowers’ delight.
The flooding streams, the dancing clouds,
This beauty of nature speaks out loud.
A precious gift, a nature's boon,
Welcome, welcome, the season of monsoon!

Frozen Memories
The sun dips low, the sky turns grey
Eternal nights stretch across the bay
A blanket of snow covers the ground
A silent world where peace is found
A solemn memory, a whispered sigh
As snowflakes fall from the winter sky
A gentle hush, a moment’s grace
In the serene and peaceful place
-Hitansh Agrawal
Seize the Day
Seize the day, don’t let it slip.
Make the most of every moment’s grip.
Don’t wait for tomorrow, it may be late,
Take control, create your own fate.
Life’s too short, so live it with flair.
Pursue your dreams, show the world you care.
Don’t let fear hold back, be bold,
Take the leap, and watch your spirit unfold.
-Kavyanjali Kaviya
The Return of Warmth
Willows whisper in dawn's breeze,
A river flows with gentle ease.
Sun-kissed hills awake and sing,
Lotuses bloom—nature's offering.
Summer's beauty banishes the cold,
A season of light and life unfolds.
At last, we rejoice and gladly say:
The warmth has finally found its way.
-Aakhya Rathod
Seize the Moment
You must learn to capture the light,
Before it fades away.
You must learn to harness the wind,
Before it shifts its way.
The sun will keep on setting,
Slowly, day by day.
The sky will keep on changing hues,
No matter what we say.
If you don't seize the moment,
It will never wait.
And if you don't discover your worth,
You might be too late.
-Aakhya Rathod
The Monsoon's Mystery
The sky weeps with heavy rain,
The rivers swell and flood the plain.
Leaves flutter, soaked with mist—
Will this storm forever persist?
Or give way to a brighter day?
The monsoon roars—what lies ahead?
No one can say; no one has said.
-Navya Mundhra
The Dance of Time
The clock ticks on, it doesn't wait,
Each minute passes, sealing our fate.
The breeze through trees whispers a song,
But the leaves won't stay for long.
The sky turns grey, the stars will fade,
So live with joy, don’t be afraid.
Dance, love, laugh, and take your chance,
Before time ends its dazzling dance.
-Navya Mundhra
Whispers of the Night
The moon is round, the breeze is light,
The river shimmers in the night.
A single leaf drifts soft and slow,
Where it will land, we do not know.
No need for words, no need for schemes,
The quiet fills my heart with dreams.
