This past month, Zeta Omega started our spring membership education process for our Alpha Sigma class. We have four membership candidates this semester - Cassie, Chloe, Maggie and Talya. On February 12, we performed first degree to get them started our their way to get initiated into Tau Beta Sigma. We are so excited to get to see them grow as they go through the process to join our sisterhood!

Zeta Omega had the honor to cohost a Midwest District Day with our brothers here at Mizzou. Friday night, we got to meet brothers and sisters from around the midwest during a game night. The next day, we got to to participate in some informative workshops about how to best serve the band program with both of the midwest councils, including our alumnus Joe who is finishing up his term as TBS Midwest president (first on the right). The day finished with a trip to Shakespeare's for lunch. We hope everyone enjoyed their time in Columbia as much as we did!

On February 26, we performed honorary initation for three important members of Mizzou's band family, Dr. Erin Cooper (director of athletic bands), Megan Arns (assistant professor, percussion) and Abby Rehard (coordinator of large instrumental ensembles). Thank you for your service to the bands and welcome to our sisterhood!
