"Students Get Internship Experience Through Special Partnerships with Local Businesses"
Baldwin High School's "Senior Experience" course combines practical internships with academic learning to fulfill graduation criteria. Led by educators Chris Soupios, Chris Russo, Jason Rudish, and assistant director of instructional programs, Dr. Gabriella Franza, the curriculum is designed to cultivate skills for future success and empower students. Participants select internships across diverse sectors and work on a capstone project, which connects their practical experiences to their English Language Arts, Social Studies and News Literacy. The second annual "School2Career Showcase" provided a platform for students to exhibit their capstone achievements.

Plaza Elementary School Showcases 2024-2025 Curriculum for Families
Plaza Elementary School recently hosted their annual “Site Based Visit” to showcase all the curricula the K-5 students have engaged in for the 2024-2025 school year to their families. Following field day, parents and guardians were invited to the school’s gymnasium to tour an exhibit of learning. This occasion marked a significant milestone as the school also celebrated its recognition as a No Place for Hate school, since many of the activities helped Plaza achieve this designation awarded by the Anti-Defamation League.
