One of our techs will bring them out and set them up right in your classroom! You can also find lots of supplemental resources that can be paired with virtual field trips as well.

Busy Hands, Busy Brains:

What if we could combine physical movement with muscle memory to produce powerful learning? Sometimes we need to change the way we teach to appeal to a variety of learning styles. Take a minute to consider how whole brain learning concepts can appeal to students and teachers. The Quiet Crew concepts are easily implemented into daily instruction and sprinkled throughout the classroom environment to appeal to kinesthetic intelligence.

Teachers can decide dates and times for sessions and complete the classes "live" from the safety of their own classroom.

Using our online ASL portal, classroom teachers can access review videos, activities, and resource materials throughout the year.

Quiet Crew Subscription Details:

• Quiet Crew Subscriptions are a series of 5 (30-40 minute) interactive lessons per teacher/per classroom.
• Topics are chosen by participating teacher.
• Times/dates are chosen by participating teacher. (can be scheduled 1 per day for 1 week or once weekly, etc.)
• District or building teacher teams can be connected simultaneously.
• Connections occur via fieldtrip zoom. A web-link will be provided prior to the connection.
• Subscribers will have anytime access to the “ASL Portal” following the first connection through August 31st.
• Additional subscriptions or connections can be purchased following the completed subscription to access different topics.

Get an inside look at organ donation! View the surgeon’s perspective in both the donor and recipient surgeries. These videos will feature pre-recorded narration from a doctor from The Ohio State University Comprehensive Transplant Center. Next, speak live with an organ donor about their personal experience. Hear their story, then ask questions about the donation process. Finish with a look into careers in the organ transplant field.

Connect in to the "North Pole" where Santa has agreed to take some time from his busy December schedule to teach students about geography as he talks about his plans for Christmas Eve. Santa will also read "A Pirate’s Twelve Days of Christmas" to your students. As part of the program, students will be able to complete a passport for Santa so they can remember all of his stops.

This program is an introduction to videoconferencing and allows your students the opportunity to visit with Mrs. Santa Claus using technology. She will talk about the tech used to make the connection between the students' school and the North Pole. Children will have the opportunity to ask questions about her, Santa Claus, reindeer, and the North Pole. (Factual information will be given whenever possible.) In order to make the best use of the time, Please have children think about or write down questions ahead of time and select those who will ask them.Mrs. Claus will do her best to answer as many questions as possible, but time constraints usually mean not all children will get a chance to ask a question. Listening and questioning skills will be reviewed by Mrs. Claus. After questions, they will hear an age-appropriate story and finally wrap up their visit with a fun song and dance. NOTE: If you have a request for a specific story, please inform Mrs. Claus prior to the program date/time. Also, if students are making return visits, please let her know.

Field Trip Zoom Zone

Please note: All trips need to be booked through Carrie Oliver @ CA BOCES with the exception of Field Trip Zoom Zone Events.

FieldTripZoom Zone is the live event calendar where you “tune into” live educational broadcast with many other classrooms.

Step 1: Register Your Account

1) Go to www.fieldtripzoom.com and register your account. Click Free Sign-Up.

2) Click Register, and an email will be sent to your email address where you will click on it to “activate” your account. Please use your school email address.

3) Next go back to www.fieldtripzoom.com and Log In to your account. Once logged in you will be asked to complete your profile. This is a one-time set up of your profile.

Step 2: Find Your Live Event

1) Once logged in, you can navigate to your FieldTripZoom Zone calendar of subject areas. Also, you can search for programs by grade range and subject area by clicking from the search menu. Click on any subject area to expand to the program details.

**Make sure you are in the Zone calendar (not class) when booking events.**

Step 3: Book Your Event

1) Click on the BOOK button to schedule a program. An email will be sent to your email address with the information to connect to the program.

2) Save the email or add the program to your Google Calendar.

3) You do not have to cancel the event if you cannot attend it. You can view the recording at a later date.
