Parents/Guardians

The CMS Student Nutrition Department would like to encourage parents to maintain a positive balance on your student(s) meal account. Each household receives bi-weekly balance notifications via email. As we approach the last fifteen weeks of the school year, we wanted to remind you to check on your student's meal account to ensure that the balance is paid.

Should you have any questions or concerns, you may reach out to me and I will do my best to assist you.

Important Attendance Information

Has your student missed a full day of school? If so, please make sure to send our attendance clerk an excuse note with the date and reason your student was absent.

You can complete the CMS Attendance Google Form to send in excuses or go to the CMS website to download the form. If any of these are medically excused, please have the doctor send in an excuse or attach to the Attendance Google Form.

You can also directly email Mrs. Kinsey at tkinsey@lexrich5.org with the reason your student was absent and she will update Powerschool.

Please note that after the 10th absence, all absences need to be medically excused.

"THINK MOVE" CHESS ACADEMY IS COMING TO CHAPIN MIDDLE!

Checkmate! THINK MOVE Chess Academy is coming to Chapin Middle!

If your child is interested in learning or improving their chess skills, this is a great opportunity to join. Led by experienced coaches, students will explore fundamental rules, strategies, and tactics to enhance their game. Each session will include lessons, puzzle-solving, and competitive play with peers.
