Mid Term 4 - 2024
Our Goal - Growth (to increase or develop)
Kia ora koutou (Hello everyone)
We are in the middle of Term 4 already and we're excited to share some of our most recent news, achievements and updates with you.
2025
We are really excited to be planning for 2025 already. This week we have finalized our teaching staff and are excited to welcome Miranda Blincoe, Jessica Geater and Olivia Thomas to the team. We are also sad but excited for the following people who will be leaving our team. Mrs. Hildesley, Mrs. Shoebridge and Matua Kevin are leaving us for new adventures. And talking about adventures, we wish Mrs. V all the best as she spends 2025 traveling around Vietnam.
We are currently working on class placements which is going to be relatively easy, given that our students mostly remain within their whanau.

Guess who visited the office ....

We have special guests
While honey bees are plentiful, land use change is having an effect on the 28 species of bee that are native to Aotearoa. Of these, 27 are not found elsewhere and several are now threatened with extinction.
In collaboration with Rhys Bees, MPS are accommodating some bees in our garden. This supports the curiosity our akonga has shown earlier this year around the importance of bees, as well as the flourishment of our gardens.
Our goal is to nurture the understanding in our tamariki that bees are a very important part of our eco system and should be nurtured and taken care of instead of being killed due to fear.
Yummy Stickers
$493 has been raised through Yummy Stickers that will be going towards new sprots equipment.
Thank you for your support in this.
Shade ports

We have a Breakfast Club running in the hall every morning. We welcome any students that might just need a top up before school starts. Please join Mrs. Light in the hall from 8:30 till 8:50.
