CHRYSTAL DUFFY
Database Support Manager
About Me:
I was born and raised in Illinois, but later in life moved to Wisconsin where I currently reside. I have two children, Teagan and Grady. They are my world. Grady studied Marine Biology in Australia this past year and we were all fortunate enough to go visit him while he was there. Teagan studied Environmental Science. When I am not spending time with my family, I enjoy everything that has to do with being outdoors. Camping, hiking, and kayaking are some of my favorite things to do.
Experience:
I started teaching Physical Education for grades K-12 in 1996. After four years of teaching, I decided to stay at home with my children. Once they entered school, I worked as a SPED Paraprofessional in a middle school for five years. In 2012, I came to Antioch and worked at Antioch Elementary School (currently Mary Kay McNeill Early Learning Center) as a lab aide. After two years, I was moved to the Technology Department.
Why I am a Database Support Manager:
I enjoy being able to help students and staff use technology without frustration. I strive to help people solve tech problems and figure out how to do something new and cool in the tech world.
Training:
Highland Community College: Associate of Applied Science
Northern Illinois University: Bachelors in Education
